At SpotWigo, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and trustworthy community for Customers and Helpers. These Community Guidelines explain the standards of behaviour expected from everyone using the SpotWigo platform.
By using SpotWigo, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, or legal action where appropriate.

2. Respect Everyone
Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Always:
- Be polite and courteous.
- Respect personal boundaries.
- Communicate professionally.
- Be patient and understanding.
- Respect different backgrounds and cultures.
Never:
- Use abusive language.
- Harass another user.
- Threaten or intimidate others.
- Discriminate based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Bully or intentionally embarrass others.
SpotWigo has zero tolerance for hate speech or discriminatory behaviour.
3. Safety First
Safety is our highest priority.
Customers and Helpers should:
- Verify booking details before starting.
- Use the app throughout the booking.
- Follow all applicable laws.
- Stay alert to their surroundings.
- Report suspicious behaviour immediately.
Do not:
- Meet in unsafe locations.
- Share confidential information unnecessarily.
- Allow unauthorised individuals to participate in a booking.
- Continue a booking if you feel unsafe.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services before contacting SpotWigo.
4. Honest Behaviour
All users must act honestly.
Do not:
- Create fake bookings.
- Provide false information.
- Impersonate another person.
- Submit fake documents.
- Misrepresent your identity.
- Manipulate booking details.
- Attempt to deceive other users.
Honesty helps maintain trust across the SpotWigo community.
5. Booking Responsibilities
Bookings should only be made for genuine service needs.
Customers should:
- Provide accurate addresses.
- Clearly describe the requested service.
- Be available at the scheduled time.
- Provide a safe environment.
Helpers should:
- Accept only bookings they intend to complete.
- Arrive on time.
- Complete services professionally.
- Notify Customers promptly if delays occur.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may lead to account restrictions.
6. Communication Guidelines
Keep communication respectful and relevant to the booking.
Use SpotWigo's communication tools whenever possible.
Avoid:
- Spam
- Offensive language
- Repeated unwanted messages
- Sharing misleading information
- Harassment
Never pressure another user to communicate outside the platform.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are expected to:
- Treat Helpers respectfully.
- Provide accurate booking information.
- Be present at the agreed location.
- Ensure pets or hazards are properly managed.
- Pay for services through SpotWigo.
- Cooperate during the service.
Customers must not:
- Ask Helpers to perform illegal or dangerous tasks.
- Request services outside the agreed booking.
- Demand unpaid additional work.
- Offer or request off-platform payments.
8. Helper Responsibilities
Helpers represent the quality of the SpotWigo marketplace.
Helpers should:
- Arrive on time.
- Wear appropriate clothing.
- Behave professionally.
- Follow booking instructions.
- Respect customer privacy.
- Handle belongings with care.
Helpers must not:
- Demand additional payments.
- Accept cash payments outside the platform unless explicitly supported.
- Perform unsafe tasks.
- Misrepresent completed work.
- Continue working after a booking has ended without agreement.
9. Payments & Off-Platform Transactions
All bookings and payments should be completed through SpotWigo.
Do not:
- Ask users to pay outside the app.
- Offer discounts in exchange for cash payments.
- Share personal payment details.
- Attempt to avoid SpotWigo service fees.
Off-platform transactions remove important protections such as secure payments, support, and dispute resolution.
Users who repeatedly encourage off-platform payments may lose access to SpotWigo.
10. Ratings & Reviews
Ratings and reviews help improve the platform.
Reviews should:
- Be honest.
- Be respectful.
- Reflect actual experiences.
- Remain relevant to the booking.
Do not:
- Leave fake reviews.
- Exchange reviews for rewards.
- Threaten users with negative reviews.
- Use offensive language.
- Include personal information.
SpotWigo may remove reviews that violate these guidelines.
11. Fraud & Abuse
SpotWigo actively monitors fraudulent behaviour.
Examples include:
- Fake bookings.
- Identity fraud.
- Stolen payment methods.
- Chargeback abuse.
- False refund claims.
- Fake Helper accounts.
- Booking manipulation.
- Artificially inflating ratings.
Fraud may result in:
- Immediate account suspension.
- Permanent account removal.
- Cancellation of bookings.
- Legal action where appropriate.
12. Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:
- Violence or threats.
- Sexual harassment.
- Stalking.
- Extortion.
- Blackmail.
- Hate speech.
- Offensive content.
- Sharing explicit material.
- Illegal gambling.
- Drug-related activity.
- Weapons-related activity.
- Encouraging criminal behaviour.
- Damaging another person's property.
- Attempting to hack or disrupt SpotWigo systems.
13. Illegal Activities
SpotWigo may not be used to facilitate illegal activities.
Examples include:
- Theft.
- Fraud.
- Money laundering.
- Human trafficking.
- Identity theft.
- Counterfeit goods.
- Illegal transportation.
- Smuggling.
- Any activity prohibited by applicable law.
SpotWigo will cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.
14. Account Integrity
Each person should maintain only one account unless explicitly authorised by SpotWigo.
Do not:
- Share your account.
- Sell your account.
- Transfer your account.
- Use another person's account.
- Circumvent account restrictions.
- Create new accounts after suspension.
Keep your login credentials secure.
15. Property & Personal Belongings
Customers and Helpers should respect each other's property.
Do not:
- Damage property.
- Remove belongings without permission.
- Access restricted areas.
- Handle valuable items unnecessarily.
If accidental damage occurs:
- Inform the other party immediately.
- Report the incident through SpotWigo Support.
- Cooperate during any investigation.
16. Reporting Issues
Please report any behaviour that violates these Community Guidelines.
Examples include:
- Harassment.
- Fraud.
- Unsafe conduct.
- Fake accounts.
- Offensive content.
- Threats.
- Property damage.
Reports should include:
- Booking ID.
- Description of the incident.
- Supporting photos or screenshots (if available).
- Any additional relevant information.
SpotWigo reviews all reports confidentially and fairly.
17. Enforcement
SpotWigo may take action when these Community Guidelines are violated.
Possible actions include:
- Educational warnings.
- Removal of content.
- Temporary account restrictions.
- Suspension.
- Permanent account termination.
- Cancellation of bookings.
- Removal of Helper status.
- Withholding payouts where permitted by law.
- Reporting unlawful activity to authorities.
The severity of enforcement depends on the nature and frequency of the violation.
